PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A 13-year-old boy charged within the deadly taking pictures of one other teenager in Clairton has turned himself into police.
Laquan Wealthy-Cabbagestalk, 13, surrendered to police on Tuesday morning, Allegheny County Police mentioned. He’s charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a minor.
The taking pictures occurred Monday round 9:30 p.m. when first responders have been first known as out to Wilson Avenue.

A teenage boy was discovered shot and pronounced lifeless on the scene. The sufferer has been recognized as 13-year-old Chase Jones.
Wealthy-Cabbagestalk was enjoying video video games with Jones and two different folks when a witness mentioned they heard a gunshot and Wealthy-Cabbagestalk mentioned “I shot him,” investigators mentioned.
One other witness says Wealthy-Cabbagestalk mentioned, “I am sorry,” and mentioned that he had shot Jones.
Witnesses advised police Wealthy-Cabbagestalk fled the scene and a gun was situated by cops close to the world he ran in direction of when he left the house.
Police say Wealthy-Cabbagestalk is a pupil at Clairton Metropolis Faculty District. He’s now being held within the Allegheny County Jail.
The district is closed at the moment “attributable to a tragedy that occurred in our group.”
